Situated in the fashionable hub of Shoreditch, J Mansfield Ltd installed this creative pop-up for Places+Faces as an opportunity for fans to view their artwork and purchase some branded merchandise at the same time.
J Mansfield Ltd were commissioned by Places+Faces to create this versatile space which needed to include an artwork viewing area, a kiosk with merchandise displayed and a breakout bar with DJ booth for the private partys. An industrial theme was used to compliment the event space, the kiosk comprising of a metal stud frame with plasterboard panelling and a wire mesh front. We also fabricated a bespoke branded lightbox to mimic an airport sign as requested by the Client.
Aluminium venetian blinds were used to create a screen between the artwork viewing area and shop area, access between the spaces created by lifting the blinds to create a doorway. On the blinds we stencilled the Places+Faces logo to create a striking banner as you enter the space. Bespoke photo tables and tall plinths added a dynamic viewing space for the artwork along with multiple wall-hung images.
On the merchandise side we also installed a DJ booth using building materials to match the Kiosk. Customers were also able to have their photo taken in front of a bespoke printed backdrop. To finish off the space we applied various signage and logos, including a large Places+Faces logo on the front shutter.
