One of the more unusual projects we have been involved in required us to cut and modify a variety of furniture items to create the illusion of them floating in a pond. The items of furniture were delivered to our workshop where we marked up angles to match the design intent from the Client. Multiple laser lines were used to ensure each cut was level and that the item would sit perfectly on the floor without gaps or movement.

For items that were top heavy we concealed cantilevering weights within the piece to keep the object remaining upright and stable. A variety of challenging items were involved in the project, including: dining furniture, a gazebo, an ottoman, a rowing boat with oars and even a grandfather clock.

Our install slot at Somerset House was very tight however our team arrived in good time and swiftly installed the items, assembling and modifying where required. We even had time to help out with various other items around the installation to ensure the project was delivered successfully.
